For rapid affinity purification of 6x-histidine-tagged proteins

MagReSyn® NTA microparticles consist of nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) residues with a strong metal-chelating property. MagReSyn® NTA is pre-chelated with nickel ions for affinity purification of histidine-tagged proteins. The product has been engineered for exceptional specificity, delivering highly pure target proteins.

Since different types of His-tagged proteins may have varying affinities for a particular metal ion, we also offer a His-tagged protein purification screening kit (MagReSyn® NTA-KIT) containing MagReSyn® NTA chelated with 4 alternate divalent metal ions (Ni2+, Cu2+, Co2+, Zn2+) to identify the most suitable metal ion for optimal purification of your particular target protein. MagReSyn® NTA Copper, -Cobalt and -Zinc are currently available in 2 ml product formats.

MagReSyn® NTA Performance Superiority

(A) Improved purity of His-tagged target protein from crude E.coli cell lysate purified using MagReSyn® NTA. Lane 1: molecular weight markers, Lane 2: MagReSyn® NTA, Lane 3: Competitor 1, Lane 4: Competitor 2. All alternate products were used with supplier recommended buffers and protocols.
(B) Comparative assessment of MagReSyn® NTA (lane 2) against two leading alternate products (lanes 3 & 4). All samples were purified using the same binding/washing buffer (80 mM sodium phosphate pH 7,4, 40 mM imidazole, 1 M NaCI). 1 M NaCI). MagReSyn® microparticles showed a significant improvement in purity and recovery of the target protein.
(C) Specific enrichment of His-tagged target protein with crude E-coli cell lysate purified using MagReSyn® NTA. Lane 1: molecular weight markers, Lane 2: crude lysate, Lanes 3-6: 97% purity achieved in a single purification step. Results obtained for His-GFP isolated from crude E.coli lysate.
