Mag-Net™ HP – Kit 96

For deep proteome profiling of biofluids, such as plasma and urine, by enriching membrane bound vesicles. The kits are suitable for automated or manual enrichment of 96 samples. Larger format kits coming soon!

The Mag-Net™ HP (High Performance) Kit contains magnetic polymeric microparticle support designed for the capture of membrane bound vesicles using the Mag-Net™ approach as described by the MacCoss Lab at University of Washington Department of Genome Sciences. The kit uses proprietary beads and buffers to achieve increased proteome coverage of plasma, and can provide over 50% increase in coverage over the traditional Mag-Net™ protocol. The kit is suitable for processing 96 samples on automated magnetic bead handling stations and liquid handling stations, and the protocl has been optimized for use with plasma, but may be suitable for use with other biofluids (contact us for further information). For best results we recommend using plasma collected according to the EDRN SOP.

The technology has been amended for deep proteome profiling from as little as 300ul of Urine! It is also available in a kit for processing of 96 urine samples. Introduced at HUPO in Singapore, the technology enables membrane vesicle enrichment from urinary samples. Please read the application note for more information related to the technology.
